Sariya

Sariya is a colloquial term used in India for steel reinforcement bars (rebars) that are commonly used in construction, especially in reinforced concrete structures. These steel rods provide tensile strength to concrete, which is naturally strong in compression but weak in tension. The combination of steel (sariya) and concrete creates a much stronger and more durable structure.
